Tax Receipt

3 Simple Steps to Get a Tax Deduction
After you donate, claim your tax deduction by following these 3 simple steps:

  1. Keep the receipt that we will leave you on the day of your pickup
  2. Keep a list of the items you donated
  3. Estimate the value of your donations
Be sure to keep your receipt for tax time—the IRS requires that you have a receipt from any tax-exempt organization you donate to. Of course, if you lose your receipt you can contact us at dispatch@donateforkindness.org or (972) 438-KIND (5463)
